Some Background

In 2011, WADA agreed to fund the full-time position of Manager of the Africa Zone VI RADO to facilitate program implementation. The Manager was subsequently employed by the RADO in August 2012, and the RADO Office was re-located to Gaborone, Botswana. In 2013, the Africa Zone VI RADO Board resolved to accept an application for membership from the Republic of Ghana from West Africa, bringing the total number of Member States to eleven (11).
