We are Africa Zone 2 and 3 Regional Anti-Doping Organization
The Africa Zone 2 and 3 Regional Anti-Doping Organization (RADO) was created in 2006 with the aim of 10 member countries pooling their resources (financial, material and human) through Governments and National Olympic Committees (NOCs) to fight doping in sport in all it forms.
This fight is done through the development and implementation of education, awareness and testing programs, with the support of WADA, and collaboration with international and national federations and other sports associations.
RADO has 10 member countries which are: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo. The RADO is made up of a Board made up of 10 members, a Member Country Representative (MCR) for each country jointly appointed by the government and the NOC, and an Executive Bureau made up of 4 members (President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Permanent Secretary).

Our Values
We observe the highest ethical standards and avoid improper influences or conflicts of interest that would undermine our independent and unbiased judgement.
We listen to athletes’ voices, as the stakeholders that are most impacted by anti-doping policies and activities.
We develop innovative and practical solutions to enable stakeholders to implement anti-doping programs.

We believe that the human dimensions are essential to keep sports fair. Athletes start clean and we should aim to help them stay like that through all their career.
